Hack Internet Week Denmark – November 12th, 2019

– Create the best idea for an electrical/digital contraption for next year’s festival

This mini hackathon is your chance to come and work on a concrete challenge – an electrical/digital contraption that will be used in Denmark’s leading digital festival with more than 11000 participants – and if you want, get a chance to take lead in or participate in the development of the “product”. The winner will receive a gift voucher for Steam.

The challenge

With the rise in technology, skepticism and distrust are equally on the rise. How can we turn this around? How can we use technology to increase trust in the digital age? These are some of the questions that will be addressed at the next IWDK festival and that your idea should contribute to. You get to generate ideas for technology that will support the theme of IWDK and challenge the above questions. Maybe a badge that is able to track a participant and collect personal data, maybe an app that can monitor interaction with other participants, an installation that interacts with festival participants, or maybe something entirely different?

Toitware will be joining us as well with their cool IoT platform that you can try out and possibly use for the challenge.
