The Orbies – February 6th, 2020

You are hereby invited to participate in The Orbies, Winter 2020 edition, February 6th at 16.30. The Orbies is a celebration of student creativity and technical skills in projects made during the past semester. Students will get a chance to show off their projects and win the prestigious Orbie statuettes. Students can present their projects in the form of a pitch, a demo or a video – or a combination of two, or even all three to increase chances of winning.

The projects will be evaluated on the night by a high-profile panel of judges from industry and academia who will award Orbie statuettes in the categories Best Pitch, Best Demo, Best Video, Best Startup Potential and Best Overall Project. Furthermore, there’s the Audience award and an Orbie statuette will also be awarded to an ORBIT Lab Community Contributor – someone who helped accelerate ORBIT Lab during the past semester.

Nominate projects

As a student, you can submit your own project or a project your fellow students have worked on, that you think deserves a nomination. Staff can also submit projects from the past semester that deserve nominations. Please provide as many details as possible below. You can submit as many projects as you like.
