Engineering a Unicorn – May 8th, 2019

Internet Week Denmark is Denmark’s leading digital festival with 100+ events in and around Aarhus. ORBIT Lab takes part in cooperation with Danish startup, turned unicorn, Tradeshift.

Tradeshift is a Danish unicorn, valued at $1.2 billion, serving more than 1.5 million companies in 190 different countries. Tradeshift drives supply chain innovation for the digitally connected economy. As the leader in supply chain payments and marketplaces, the company helps buyers and suppliers digitize all their trade transactions, collaborate on every process, and connect with any supply chain app.

Scaling an engineering organization from 1 to 10 employees is a good challenge. Scaling to 350 engineers globally, divided into 58 different teams, well that’s an even better challenge. Come and hear how Tradeshift did it – learn how to grow an organization, while still maintaining a healthy growth framework for the individual engineer.
