Tech Startup Launchpad – Setting the right team, September 26th, 2019

Join us in ORBIT Lab, September 26th, for another round of Tech Startup Launchpad. This time, the topic will revolve around how to set the right team for your startup. What makes for the perfect team? Is there such a thing as the perfect team?

A present challenge for many startups is to find people with tech skills. There is a high demand for these employees in general, so what do tech startups have to offer? What is important to consider for startups that want to employ tech people? And based on what parameters do tech people choose their future employers?

To help us gain perspective on these questions, we will hear from Kristian Andreasen, Founder of Kanda, and Felix Klastrup, Founder of Gamescorekeeper – both of whom have been through quite a journey in their quest to set the perfect team.

About Kristian Andreasen and Kanda

Coming from a background in Engineering and Computer Science, Kristian has always been fascinated by what happens when Humans meet new technologies. Hailing from the dark and unexplored western part of Denmark, Kristian explores the field of VR and AR with a healthy dose of utilitarian skepticism.

His company, Kanda, builds digital twins for businesses using virtual, augmented and mixed-reality platforms. Their approach is design thinking and they take inspiration from computer games.

About Nikolai Lindholm and Zliide

Back in 2016, Nikolai and his three co-founders started Zliide with a mission to revolutionize the retail industry. The result is an omnichannel solution tailored for today’s customers, revolutionizing the shopping experience in fashion stores with a reinvented and intelligent security tag. The technology gives the customers the ability to be in control of their shopping experience throughout the process and blurs the barriers between offline and online shopping with all elements gathered in one platform. Today, the company has grown to 16 employees, and therefore “Setting the right team” has been and is a present challenge for Nikolai and his team.

About Tech Startup Launchpad

Tech Startup Launchpad is an initiative in ORBIT Lab to support the local tech startup ecosystem and student entrepreneurship by getting students and startups together to share knowledge, skills and experiences.

This will be the fifth in a series of events that focus on local war stories, pitches and networking. It is a platform where you can get inspired, learn from the experiences of others and share your own, and potentially join a startup or find co-founders for your own idea.

In ORBIT Lab, we work with entrepreneurship from a tech perspective. Our goal with Tech Startup Launchpad is to facilitate synergies between tech students and the tech startup ecosystem. The Tech Startup Launchpad events are open for anyone with an interest in the tech startup ecosystem.

For students, Tech Startup Launchpad is a chance to:

  • Get involved in the local startup ecosystem
  • Contribute with your ideas and technical expertise
  • Get inspired to develop your own startup ideas
  • Potentially join a startup

For tech startups, Tech Startup Launchpad is a chance to:

  • Get valuable feedback from students and entrepreneurs of the ORBIT Lab Community
  • Potentially onboard new talent and skills
